The beaver has regained control and is limping towards you, making a strange screeching noise

You: You swing at the beaver’s head and connect. Not hard enough to kill it, but the creature is momentarily stunned
You: (with nailclipper in hand)
You: You are armed with duct tape, a balloon
You: You see a east bank along side the river.
You: You see a stunned beaver.
Stranger: then i tape the balloon to the beaver and then throw it in the water
You: SUCCESS!
You: Beaver is thrown into the river
You: But the balloon was not blown up. Beaver wakes up from being stunned by the rushing waters!
Stranger: YESSSS
Stranger: NOOO
You: The beaver is once again gaining on you
You: It is excited by the prospect of killing you. It would be able to feed its family a feast like never before!
Stranger: but its taped together it cant move
You: Typically this beaver eats smaller creatures. It is a carnivore beaver. However, driven by hunger and sickness, it is determined to land a great meal.
You: hmmm your right!
You: but duct tape is ineffective in water!
Stranger: ah

You: You see a east bank along side the river.
You: You see angry beaver returning for a fight.
You: You are armed with extra duct tape.
Stranger: gives up and lets the beaver eat me

You: Now you are rising above the treeline, still with nailclippers and ducttape
You: You will continue to rise unless you figure out a way to get back to land
You: the wind picks up and blows you eastward, towards what looks like a wooden hut

Stranger: i need to tape the balloon to the beavers back
Stranger: then pop it with the nail clippers and it will die of shock from the deafening boom
You: It is to late. You are now on the wooden hut.
Stranger: ok
You: On the roof. which then cracks and sends you falling into the shack below. You are not badly injured.
Stranger: i would use the roof of the hut to file away part of my nails
You: The shack appears to be abandoned. You are in a small dusty room.
Stranger: then i would clip them off and through their razor sharp edges at the beaver

You: and you are armed with duct tape, nai clippers, and a ragged balloon is still strapped to your head. You also have the map.
You: You see the ravage beaver

You will then need DosBox to run this old software.

Then run dosbox after installation. Make a folder on the c:\ named dagger
Then in the console type mount c c:\dagger -freesize 1000

I used the cd to install the game. But regardless the DFinstall.exe from the website should extract the CD files that you need. My folder with the contents was named dfcd

Basicly whatever CD drive you use on your computer E: or… lets say G: you want to mount the files there.

mount e c:\dagger\dfcd -t cdrom -label Daggerfall <—- I put the dfcd folder(cd contents)in the dagger folder

Once you do that go to E: (or whatever your cdrom is) and run the install.exe for daggerfall and install all the files in c:\dagger

After installation set up sound ( don't use midi) Soundblaster is good enough

Go to start / all programs / dosbox / configuration / edit configuration
on the bottom of the .conf file is an autoexec part were you can enter
mount c c:\dagger -freesize 1000
mount e c:\dagger\dfcd -t cdrom -label Daggerfall
C:
cd\dagger
dagger

This will automatically start daggerfall when you run dosbox which is nice.

Enjoy a really old game

A lot of different countries are aware and do testing about GMO’s. Some BAN the use of it…. you can wonder why? I haven’t really been eating non-gmo food lately. There is always something I need to change.

With that in mind I think it is about time to role back into the habit of programming with some CSS practice. I also wrote some basic customer input software that used database tables. I should probably improve my skills as the school year creeps up for free schooling. But deep down inside I know what I do with my time and how I manage it is going to be the bigger factor in my career later in life.

Writing this out will be a good little reminder to not get off track of what I want to accomplish in this short period of time. I’m still a huge Noob.
